According to the latest news, China (Shenzhen) International Logistics and Transportation Fair (CILF), which will be held on 15th-17th, October at Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center, is jointly organized by Ministry of Transport and Shenzhen Municipal Government for the first time. Li Shenglin, the Minister of Ministry of Transport, and Xu Qin, the Mayor of Shenzhen Municipal Government, serve as the directors of the organizing committee. Weng Mengyong, Vice Minister of Ministry of Transport, and Lv Ruifeng, Deputy Mayor of Shenzhen Municipal Government, serve as the deputy directors of the organizing committee. Meanwhile, the principal leaders of Department of Comprehensive Planning, Department of Water Transport, Department of Transport, Department of International Cooperation, as well as the relative departments and leaders of each district of Shenzhen have formed a strong team in the organizing committee.

Thanks to the great attention from the government and the organizational efforts from the organizer, the total size of CILF 2010 is expected to break the record, in terms of exhibition area, as well as the number and quality of exhibitors and professional visitors. It is reported that, the exhibition area will cover a total floor space of 50,000 SQM, more than 1000 companies from over 20 countries and regions expected to exhibit in CILF2010, and the number of professional visitors from more than 50 countries and regions will exceed 75,000. When the time comes, 9 exhibition areas will focus on displaying the latest products and technology of each link of logistics and transportation service. A series of forums will invite important guests from home and abroad to give speeches on hot issues of logistics industry. The procurement meeting will witness industry magnates from home and abroad place the order for batch-sized purchasing on the spot.
